Landscapes by Megan Lightell

To “illuminate” is to make visible. In her newest collection, Megan Lightell illuminates landscapes and waterways through the use of light and a limited tonalist palette. She begins her process “en plein air” - sketching small Field Studies both from protected land and her kayak. This process allows Lightell to transform not only what she saw, but also experienced in an environment into a larger composition. “Illuminate”, will be on view Jan. 30 - Mar. 17, 2025 with an opening reception Sat. Feb. 1st from 3-6pm.
